Welcome to Legacy...Fate...Destiny:
an original fanfiction series written by Ellie, based on the 2006 film 'The Covenant'.
This fiction is primarily based on the film and then spun into my own take on the the boys and their lives. Enter Amelia Strong, a girl who feels lost in the drastic changes in her life and by experiences she can't explain. She meets the Sons of Ipswich and drama, danger and destiny unfold.
What started as a relatively short story based on a roleplaying game focused on the film, became an 'epic' much larger than anything I could have anticipated. The characters gained more depth and dimension and their lives became twisted with my own imagination, far away from the film's core sketch of the story and its characters. The sequel- which will not be written until Legacy is complete- will introduce even more new characters and aspects of the story that have not been touched on as of yet.
The fiction as a whole is rated R for adult language, content, sexual situations, and violence. Please be advised of this before you read.

• July 23rd, '08 -- Chapter 9 has been posted, putting the previous chapter to shame length and substance wise, I think. Don't forget to vote on the forum in the latest impromptu poll...I need more votes for the 'Pick a Guy' poll!
• July 8th, '08 -- Chapter 8 has been posted- it's my longest chapter so far in the sequel. As a note, I now have a board on the forum for people to mention any kind of typos or errors they've noticed that my proof-reader and I perhaps missed. Thanks!
• July 4th, '08 -- HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!! To celebrate the holiday, I've posted chapter 7, and chapter 8 won't be too far behind it ;) The latest impromptu poll has also been added to the forum, so make sure you check it out and vote! The popular vote may or may not be used in some way later on in the sequel.
• June 29th, '08 -- Chapter 6 has been added! Also, head on over to the forums for the introduction of the first 'Legacy' fanfic forum contest where the prize is to be guest featured as a character at the upcoming Masquerade Ball! Also check out the new 'Keeperships' board to stake your claim to your favorite 'Legacy' item/character now!

You can post thoughts, suggestions, comments, gab with other readers- pretty much anything!- here and it will help keep me abreast of what you're interested in and curious about. Post, post away! You *can't* post too much :) There's even a chat room... ;)
• June 24th, '08 -- Minor update, just to let you know that you can keep abreast of my thoughts and progress on 'Legacy' by checking out my LiveJournal! If you have an account yourself, be sure to friend me and I'll do the same! Also, added 4 new polls, so please vote!! One of the polls concerns a forum for the story and for *you*! =)
• June 1st, '08 -- Closed voting for the soundtrack- see what songs made the cut and download the soundtrack here! Added a new section to extras listing my musical inspirations for writing 'Legacy'.
• May 29th, '08 -- Added Chapter 5 and modified info about Anna's motorcycle- along with a linked photo- in Chapter 1. Please, PLEASE vote for your favorite songs for the 'Legacy' soundtrack- closing ends on Sunday!!!! I need more votes to make it the best compilation it can be =)
